LIBRARY
JSSPDA Library is a resource center for both teaching and learning. It is equipped with over 14,500 volumes, covering all streams of Science and Engineering and allied subjects. It has updated its collection to meet the information need of the user community from time to time.
Library and reference section consists of Text books, reference books, Dictionaries, project reports, Old Question papers, Newspapers, Journals and Magazines etc., and it offers video, audio CD/DVD’s, and Internet facility. Library is a member of National Digital Library of India (NDLI). Every Staff/Students can obtain the Institute Library membership. The students are issued Borrower’s cards for issue and return of books.

Fifteen Days

Students are allowed to borrow two books for a period of fifteen days, unless renewed for a further period; the books should be returned before the due date, failing which overdue charges are levied. An overdue charge of 1 Rs. per day per book is levied from the due date till the book is returned to the library.
In case of loss or damage caused to the issued books, the student has to replace the same book with latest edition or should pay the double the cost of the book. If any Student is found to be involved in stealing/destroying or damaging any type of reading materials, he may be penalized
NEW ARRIVALS DISPLAY: In the New Arrivals section, one copy of the new title or new edition is displayed for one month for attracting the students and staff members for using the library effectively and at the same time updating their knowledge.

Students should register their name in the Login Register.
- The personal belongings should be kept in the rack while entering the Library.
- Only blank sheets of paper are allowed inside the library for taking notes.
- Students are asked to maintain silence and discipline in and around the library.
- Students are asked to switch off their mobile or keep it in silent mode.
- All the students are eligible to borrow books.
- Borrowed book(s) should be returned on or before the due date.
- Before leaving the library with the borrowed book(s), the students are asked to check the condition of the book(s). If any page is found missing or torn or any other damage found by students at the time of issue, it should be reported to the Librarian.
- If the borrowed book is lost, the concerned student should Report about the book to the Librarian. He/she should replace the same title of the same author, edition and publication with fine. Otherwise, the concerned student should pay two times the cost of the book.
- If any Student is found to be involved in stealing/destroying or damaging any type of reading materials, he/she is penalized.
- No library items shall be taken out of the Library without due procedure.
