The Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC)

The Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) has been set up with financial assistance from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, during 2009. The cell aims to reduce the gap between industry and institutions to strengthen the linkages with the industry in and around Mysuru towards imparting technical knowledge to the students through eminent personalities, academicians and  leading industrialists on current issues and disability issues. The IIP Cell has successfully organizing various activities related to academic offerings. Since the AICTE scheme was completed, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru, is continuing to support this activity.

The activities of this cell are:

• Curriculum design for new programs and curriculum modification for existing courses in consultation with industry experts and  resource persons.
• To arrange visits to industries, factories and educational institutions for the faculty and students of our  institution.
• To educate the differently abled students and staff of our institution about the basic skills of computer applications and sign language.
• Guest lectures from eminent personalities, academicians and leading industrialists are held at regular intervals to update the knowledge of the students.
• Career development programs and workshops for students relating to soft skills, technical skills and communication skills.
• To encourage students to consider self-employment as a career option and provide training in the Entrepreneurship Awareness Program.
• To impart basic mathematics knowledge to our students by organizing a bridge course on basic mathematics for fresher’s  assisted by a dedicated team of staff members and resource persons.

The center is active throughout the year, carrying out activities which provide a good exposure from experienced experts.
